Last month I was selected to do some freelance photography & Writing for a Seoul magazine. This was actually a job I found through my Instagram page where I post the majority of my travel photos. I was super stoked to see my writing and photography printed in a magazine! Anyway, the freelance job got me a chance to play around on some of my buddies DSLR cameras (Thanks John and Murphy!) I figured I would compile some of my favorite shots into a Seoul Photo Blog.
This first shot took me over 45 minutes to get it just right. Due to the fact I was trying to get a long exposure without anyone walking in the way!
(Long Exposure Shot of the Cheonggyecheon stream)
(Another Shot of the Cheonggyecheon stream)
(Reflection Shot in Dongmyo: a slow paced part of Seoul)
(Interesting couple at the flea market in Dongmyo)
(The Watchman in Dongmyo)
(Two Koreans playing a game called “Go”)
(Seoul is a perfect combination of Old Meets New)
(Gwangjang Market: Took over 45 mins to capture a great shot in this busy market)
(Seoul Tower right outside my house!)
While living in Seoul there are so many opportunities around each corner to improve my photography and I am learning new things every day! I still have so much to learn about photography and can’t wait to continue photographing the beautiful country of Korea.
